GOOD NEWS! We now have the worldwide license for the popular Sarah Kay images! The license is for creative embroidery and I hope you will enjoy them as much as we do ♥  The embroidery panels are ideal for stumpwork and needlelace and ribbon embroidery… and a host of other applications. I cannot wait to see what you make with them.

Artist and illustrator Vivien Kubbos is the talent behind the ever popular imagery of SARAH KAY. As an art school graduate she started her career working for a small advertising agency in Sydney, Australia. The talented Mrs Kubbos went on to be employed by greeting card manufacturer John Sands in the 1970’s.  Where she was commissioned to design a collection of drawings. The cards were a huge success in Australia. The popularity of her illustrations spread rapidly around the globe to Europe, Latin America and U.S.A. 

Hint: Use ribbon and thread, and other findings to add scenery like the trees and flowers, clouds and background foliage or anything you like… there are no rules for this kind of creative embroidery!
