Artist and illustrator Vivien Kubbos is the talent behind the ever popular imagery of SARAH KAY.
As an art school graduate she started her career working for a small advertising agency in Sydney, Australia. The talented Mrs Kubbos went on to be employed by greeting card manufacturer John Sands in the 1970’s. Where she was commissioned to design a collection of drawings. The cards were a huge success in Australia. The popularity of her illustrations spread rapidly around the globe to Europe, Latin America and U.S.A.
Today the simple philosophies of the SARAH KAY brand and beautiful illustrations still resonate. Inspiring a variety of designers ranging from the fashion forward Benetton to talented specialist crafters. SARAH KAY licensed merchandise is sold around the globe and still inspires the childhood fantasy and nostalgia it did 40 years ago.
