Heirloom cotton fabric

This is the fabric that I use for my embroidery. The backing fabric is white, medium weight pure cotton fabric – ideal for ribbon embroidery and stumpwork. It is also useful to use as a background piece and for Trapunto.

Size of this block is 60 x 60 cm or 23 x 23 inches – large enough to fit in a 18 inch hoop or large frame.

Also ideal for fabric painting as this is a PFP (prepared for painting) fabric with no sizing or finishes.

Useful for tracing fine outlines or shapes onto water soluble fabric.

Hand-painted raffia for making cute little nests…

or to use for any other project where variegated stone-coloured raffia is required :)

Approx  2.5 metres/yards in a packet.

How to use this raffia:

This raffia has been hand-painted especially for you. The subtle changes in colour ensure a realistic finish.

Split the raffia into thinner pieces according to the size of the nest required. See page 131 of my Roses book for how to make a prefect nest.

Pink glitter

This is the glitter which I often use to highlight an area — adds a little sparkle :))

NOTE: This item’s colour is Pink. There are approximately three teaspoons of glitter in a packet.

The glitter is packed in a small plastic packet (and not a bottle) as the glass bottle may break and the packet is more compact to post.

Lime green glitter

This is the glitter which I often use to highlight an area — adds a little sparkle :))

NOTE: This item’s colour is Lime Green. There are approximately three teaspoons of glitter in a packet.

The glitter is packed in a small plastic packet (and not a bottle) as the glass bottle may break and the packet is more compact to post.
