It is a beautiful summer’s day in Cape Town. In fact, we’ve not had much of a winter, or
much rain, but with a bit of luck, we may have good rains before our summer starts. I
see that it is very hot in the Northern Hemisphere, and I am sure that you are
looking forward to the cooler months! I am a bit late with this newsletter, as so much
has happened in the last few weeks…
I have been working hard on my new book:
Romantic Roses in Silk and Organza Ribbon
and have truly enjoyed making the beautiful Rose sampler for this book. I
created every Rose in this sampler using brand new techniques, and am certain that
you will enjoy learning how to make these spectacular romantic roses…

A delightful new Bulldog puppy (named Milly) arrived five weeks ago, and, of course, she
needs to play and laugh and eat and play and play and sleep…
...And my hubby has been ill in hospital… therefore, I do apologise for this late newsletter!

reserve, over 100,000 hectares in size. Owned by the Oppenheimer family, do
